I have been obsessed with ancient Egypt ever since I was in sixth grade, when my family and I watched the second Night at the Museum movie in preparation for our upcoming vacation to Washington DC. I was instantly enamored with the ancient Egyptian character, Ahkmenrah, which ended up turning into an interest in Egyptology. This interest became my passion, and I discovered I am especially passionate about ancient Egyptian clothing and textile production. It also led me to visit many museums in order to see Egyptian artifacts. During these visits I discovered a love for museums, so I decided that I wanted to enter the museum field for my career.
I am currently an honors student at The Ohio State University, where I am studying history and minoring in Arabic and nonprofit management. After graduation, I plan to get my master's in Egyptology and museum studies.
